What Is Heat Pipe Solar Collector ? – USEESOLAR 2-IN-1 Frame High Pressure Solar Hot Water Heating System Supplier

What Is Heat Pipe Solar Collector ?

useesolar water heating system

The solar pipe collector is always connected to the existing water heater. The selective absorption coating on the inner cover of the vacuum tube absorbs solar energy, converts it into thermal energy, and transfers it to the thermal tube through aluminum fins. The heated liquid in the heat pipe turns into steam. And rises to the upper condenser, then the heat transfer liquid of heat energy passes through the heat exchanger. The cooled steam turns into liquid form, the bottom of the heat pipe returns to thermal energy and leads to the movement of liquid through the copper tube. This heat transfer in liquid creates a continuous circulation as long as the collector is heated by the sun.

Application of Heat Pipe Solar Collectors:

1. The heating of domestic water, such as for showers and dishwashing.

2. Underfloor and radiator heating in the room.

3. Retrofit old heating system/equipment; Hotel, apartment, school, hospital, hospital, hospital. And other large commercial solar water heaters.

Specifications For Heat Pipe Solar Collectors:

1. The vacuum tube is composed of borosilicate glass 3.3, coated with ALN/AIN-SS/CU and 58*1800mm in size.

2. Red copper heat pipe condenser.

4. An integrated aluminum fin transfers heat.

5. Manifold casing made from aluminum alloy (silver color and black).

6. The header pipe is made of red copper, 38mm in diameter.

7. Plug-in and plug-out: 22mm (3/4 inch and 1 inch).

8. Compressed rock wool as insulation.

Characters of Heat Pipe Solar Collector

  • It has a condenser, a larger area for heat exchangers, and a high efficiency.
  • Perfect for installation on sloped roofs or flat roofs in conjunction with building materials.
  • It is easy to use with current water heating devices.
  • The solar fluid does not have to be drained when replacing the tube;
  • Compared to a flat plate, this plate offers significant advantages.
  • The product requires little maintenance.

How Do Evacuated Tube Collectors Work?

The Evacuated tube collector has a series of clear glass vacuum tubes similar to the one used for the header where the cold water converts into hot water. This process is done by heat pipes that collect heat in the device and transfer heat from one side to the other side using an evaporation-condensation cycle.

These pipes have a cylindrical shape. Therefore, part of the sunlight is absorbed into heating tubes, which allows these collectors to work efficiently even when the sunlight is low, such as early in the morning or late afternoon, when the shadow of a cloud.

So how do vacuum tube solar collectors work? The expansion pipe collector has one or more parallel rows, supported by the visible glass in the center. The diameter of each pipe ranges from 1 “(25mm) to 3” (75mm) and 5′(1500mm) to 8′(2400mm), depending on the manufacturer.

Each file has a large glass on the outside and a small glass on the inside (called a “twin glass tube”) or a thermos with a unique lid that absorbs solar energy but prevents overheating. A borosilicate or glass lime soda tube that is strong, resistant to high temperatures, and highly resistant to sunlight is used.

The insulation layer significantly reduces excess heat in the ambient air or convection or radiation, making the collector more efficient than the existing insulation that the plate collector gives to the interior. With the help of this hole, the box collector receives a higher heat output than a flat surface. It can be boiling in the summer.

What is the working principle of a solar thermal collector?

Some solar panels are fitted to the solar panel of the furnace and then used to clean the hydraulic oil in the pipe and the other is distributed in the vicinity. The steam in the boiler rises in the condenser area where the heat is transferred to the solar hydraulic oil through the manifold. Where it reacts and then returns to the side where the air continues. After this, Hydraulic oil, distributed using a pump, enters the manifold at low temperature and then rises as it passes through the manifold. The hot hydraulic oil passes through the copper and exchanges heat with the water in the tank.

According to the hot water consumption system, hot water is drawn at 60 ° C from the top of the storage tank, and the bottom of the tank is replaced with tap water. In this case, the pump is used to distribute solar, hydraulic water through the solar loop. The hydraulic oil flow rate is adjusted with the valve installed after the pump. Cooling hydraulic oil enters in quantities and then increases in temperature as it passes through the smoke condenser.

The heated hydraulic oil is then passed through a  copper cover plate to exchange water in the tank.

Advantages of Heat Pipe Solar collector

Heat pipe solar collectors can absorb and transfer solar energy more efficiently than other flat panels. In addition, other advantages of heat pipe solar collectors are control of operating temperature, prevention of overheating, long operating life, and elimination of corrosion. These unique advantages have made solar pipe collectors an attractive option for domestic hot water systems.

Solar tubes with copper heat pipes have many advantages over other solar systems because they can be miniaturized by removing some heat pipes. The internal heat transfer fluid is isolated so that removing the tube will not shut down the system. This allows for seasonal management. To reduce the output, pull out a few pipes. This also means that broken tubes have little effect on the operation of the system.
